8:00-2:37, Academic Acceleration 2:40-3:30

When your child arrives in the morning they are to go to child care or the breakfast room before 7:45.  After school, students are to remain in a line on the deck until you come to them.  For the safety of your child and all the children at WMAES, we ask that if you are visiting longer we ask that you please go to the office and pick up a visitor button. You are welcome to guide your child to the classroom the first few weeks of school.  When you drop them off we understand your child or you may feel a little nervous.  We encourage you to say I love you, give them one hug or kiss, I’ll see you at the end of school and wave goodbye.  That way your child will know when they will see you next.  They will also adapt to the classroom environment more fluidly.  I will make sure to call you during my planning time if your child is having a harder time to let you know how they are doing.  Then they are to give us a high five so that we are aware you have picked them up.
